What a week we had @ Southbrook church!
- Before anything else let me share with you the greatest news of all—85 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ this weekend! That’s the greatest miracle of them all—a life transformed!—a former hellbounder who is now a part of God’s own family! Go God!!
- It’s been a while (too long if you ask me—and since you’re reading this, I’m going to assume you asked me!) but this past Friday night Southbrook had a ‘Night of Worship,’—or, “N.O.W.” as they have come to be known as around here. It was one of the very best ones I can ever remember in our 10 year history. If you missed it—I feel for you. But there’s no reason to spend the rest of your life weeping and nashing your teeth. Look for the next one in late August. And for goodness sake, don’t miss it this time!
- Another thing that made Friday’s N.O.W. extra special was that we welcomed our newest staff member, Jairus Williams. Jairus is the new worship pastor for our Monroe Campus. So, if you get a chance drop him a note or a message through facebook and let him know how thrilled we are to have him on the Southbrook team (picture coming soon)!
- Attendance was up this week—what? No NASCAR?
- Men? Our last time to “Man Up” will be this Monday morning (as in tomorrow) at 6:15 (for donuts) and 6:30 for a challenge. Hope to see you all there!
