Family is a big part of my journey.

I am blessed beyond all measure that God gave me Michelle to be my wife, best friend, and life partner. Oh, the things He’s done with, to, and through the two of us, including giving us the best son and daughter (and now son-in-law) that anyone could ask for. Together, we have spread God’s Word, seen thousands become followers of Christ, planted several churches, and continue to reach the lost at home and across the globe. I could not have done any of this without God or my family.

I’m the Lead Pastor at The Summit.

I’ve been pastoring for over 27 years, and currently serve as the Lead Pastor at The Summit Church in Centennial, CO. My heart is to reach those who are lost, raise them up to be who God has called them to be, and release them to fulfill God’s mission. I’m also highly driven to mentor pastors and leaders and to continue planting churches as God directs.

God has downloaded several books to me that He wants me to write, and I’m excited about this first one…Overliked: Finding Clarity, Confidence, and Connection in a Society Crippled by Social Media. This isn’t a book that bashes social media…I like social media and think there are positive ways it can be used…but why are Likes so important? Why do we care? What’s at the root of all of it? And what’s the solution? (Of course, God is at the heart of the solution.)
