An offended Christ follower is an oxymoron. You can’t be bitter, offended and angry while at the same time filled with gentleness, peace, mercy self-control and all the other fruits of the Spirit—It just won’t work. That’s why Satan loves to lay down the bait and lure us in to the ultimate trap of offense. Once offended, we are—for all intents and purposes—out of the game.
