Easters wear me out, but they’re always worth it! It was a great weekend and God truly moved mightily among His people!
- We’ve been told that our new building could hold 1200 people at a time but we never believed it. This weekend we decided to dump every chair we could find on the floor and fill it to the rafters. Conclusion? I think we could get at least 1300 in there! — Maybe more if someone will agree to keep the fire marshal distracted!
- Decided to go beyond the raised hand for Jesus this year and call out those who really mean business. Today exactly 100 people at Southbrook Weddington and Monroe stepped out of their seats and came forward (ala good old fashion altar call) to identify with Jesus or renew their commitment to Him!
- Our Monroe Campus saw their second biggest day EVER! God is really rockin Monroe!
- Woship was off the hook! I love it when our teams set me up so well by leading everyone to the throne of God!
- Saw our biggest back to back crowds ever at the Weddington campus! The fresh wind continues to blow!
- Looking forward to spending time with the men of Southbrook tomorrow morning, bright and early. See you at 6:15 am men!
- If you can’t connect at Easter, you may have a worship problem…You’re worshiping the wrong stuff.
- Across our state it sounds like God did some truly great things at a lot of churches! That’s awesome! We’re not the only one in town you know.
- It was flat out awesome to see so many people teamed up with new believers up front, praying, handing out Bibles and challenging them to take the next step for Christ and publically profess Him through baptism. That’s April 18th BTW!
- Keep praying for our New York Mission’s Trip! A lot of our High Schoolers were celebrating Easter by spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ all across the inner city of New York. Keep praying for them. They’ll be there one more week!
- Looking forward to taking a busload of men, fathers and sons as well as single guys to Gettysburg for a leadership retreat!
- Now, time to crash!
