To all my dear friends and family at Impact Church. Tomorrow is the Grand opening of Forest Hill, Waxhaw and the completion of the marriage and merger of Impact Church and Forest Hill. What a great day for God’s kingdom and a terrifying day for the evil one! And for the Singletons? Well, it’s huge, emotional, exciting…and everything in between.
Impact Church has been the greatest experience with Christ’s Bride that I have ever had! I have never seen a more dedicated, loving, grace filled and sacrificial group of people in all my life! And I couldn’t be happier about the future and impact (pun intended) for God’s kingdom that we are going to have together with Forest Hill!
But I’m also sad. Though we are excited about the adventures ahead for the Singletons, Impact will be a tough act to follow. Impact has been more than a church to us—they are family. They loved us when we felt unloved. They took care of us when we were abandoned. But most of all, they showed the love of Christ in a real and tangible way.
Thank you, Impactors! You will forever be in our hearts and hopefully—our lives! I look so forward to hearing about the glory you bring to Jesus by continuing to serve Him and show His love to a lost and hurting world.
