3 more folks bent the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ today at Impact Church! People are coming to faith in Jesus nearly every week at this launch phase of Impact Church!!!
We tipped the 500 point last weekend at 508 men, women and children calling Impact Church home! This weekend it went to 527! More importantly, the average church sees no more than 10% of their membership actually attending on a given weekend. We are almost at two thirds! I confess, I’m praying for 80% plus, but I’m thrilled that we are already a culture that takes seriously Hebrews 10:25 which says, “…let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” The Impact family is growing and we are seeing more and more people find their ministry place on the launch team as we all prepare for the Fall grand opening of Impact Church!
I REALLY, REALLY, want to encourage everyone to invite someone this week and not leave the “invite DNA” to someone else. We are all in this together and the gospel is once again going out this weekend. Let’s all pray for, invite, and cater to a loved one or acquaintance all week and then cap it off by bringing them to Impact Church this weekend!
I’m thrilled with this whole History channel series, “The Bible!” Not only will the gospel be presented on Easter, but it’s been worked in to every message since this series started and people at Impacthave come to Christ each and every week! I love how the show has presented the thread of Jesus Christ that runs from the book of Genesis all the way to Revelation! The entire Bible is His story—not just the New Testament. Tonight’s episode was highly anticipated as the focus has now shifted to the three year ministry of Jesus Christ that changed the world!
