Sunday @Southbrook Church I told our people about an opportunity to see many come to Christ.
How many?
Only God knows, but I’m confident attaching the word, “many”—that should be enough!
The opportunity is a revival at Elevation Church right here in the Charlotte area. The pastor of Elevation is Steven Furtick and he’s a friend and fellow minister on the front lines for Jesus! I want the people of Southbrook to pray for this revival (all 12 days of it) and at least 120 of you to gather on Friday evening for a special “Upper Room” prayer covering for guest preacher, Pastor Matt Chandler.
You’ve heard me talk about Matt a few times and the influence He’s had on me from afar (He pastors The Village Church in Dallas, TX). He absolutely one of the most gifted preachers alive today and he will be speaking live (via satellite) @Southbrook Church’s Weddington Campus this Friday night. Come lift him up in prayer (6:30 pm) and get ready to hear Him bring a message from God at 7:00.
Several of the Southbrook pastors and staff will be there while I and pastor Dave will be joining Pastor Matt and Pastor Steven at Elevation.
Let’s do this big because we serve a GREAT BIG GOD and expect Him to move in ginormous ways! I also want to be able to tell Pastor Matt that many will be gathered just to lift him up as he shares the gospel—I know that will greatly encourage him!
