Monday Evening Mind Dump!

Sunday, Monday Evening Mind Dump!

  • The first of many trips to Haiti leaves in a little over 24 hours. This first trip is to demolish the remains of one of our sister church buildings that still lies in ruins after the earth quake a year and a half ago. Our team will do this, clean and prep the sight, and hopefully begin building of a bigger, nicer (much more earthquake proof) worship center! Of course we can’t do it all in one trip, so future teams will likely be working in this area as well. It’s not too late for you to jump on board! The next trips will be in…

–       July (medical)

–       September (construction, education, evangelism)

–       October (construction, education, medical, discipleship)

Please keep the gang in your prayers every day! Here they are…

  • It was great to be back. I was only gone a week (hung around at home the second week and worked on some other ministry opportunities the second week) but it doesn’t take long to miss my Southbrook family! Glad to be back and excited about our wrap up of our year and a half “Divine” series

(The Gospel according to John). The whole series (all 34 installments) will be up on our website in audio and video in a couple weeks.

  • Starting the weekend of the 4th (July, that is)—we will begin a brand new summer series about wise living in tough times called, “A Fist Full of Wisdom.” If living in this complex world has you frustrated or unsure—plan on joining us to learn about the peace and security believers can have living life God’s way!

Hope you can make it! See you then!
