Sunday Evening Mind Dump

  • Missed my family at Southbrook Church today! The Singleton’s got to get away for a few days—but that didn’t stop the kids from hearing me preach anyway! Ahh, but church at the beach—hard to beat!
  • Another awesome outreach to the wonderful people of Benton Heights! Over 500 showed up for hotdogs, face painting, family fun and to be ministered to by the volunteers from Southbrook Church! Here are a couple pictures:

  • Have 4 guys already for our multisite prep training. Still in the development stages right now, but I’m pumped that God is raising up some mighty men to go out and further His kingdom! Think God might be calling you to the role of campus pastor for Southbrook Church? Email my assistant, Kelly Spinney @ kspinney@southbrookchurch.com to get in on the ground floor!
  • Be praying with us for where God would have us go next as a church. Fort Mill, SC and Uptown Charlotte lead the way right now.
  • Know it’s been a couple weeks now, but I’m still appreciating the night of worship the gang from New Life Church lead @ Southbrook Church—Desperation Band rocked for Jesus! More pictures…

  • Met a young and upcoming pastor at a conference I was at a few weeks ago. I really think this guy could be a future Matt Chandler. He loves the Lord and he is very gifted. His name is Matt Popovits (see, already has half the name down!). Anyway, I hope to have him here in September to preach for me—you’ll see!
  • Looking forward to Clayton King preaching this coming weekend! He’s a good friend and another great preacher. Invite everyone you know because people always get saved when Clayton comes to town!
  • Gotta go—It’s time for another Singleton favorite—the beach night walk.
