This weekend the Lord has shown me a lot to share with the body of Southbrook about how to avoid a family melt-down but the message comes with a caution…
It’s not for the squeamish.
We will not shirk from God’s truth or sugar coat what happened with this biblical family I will be teaching about (you’ll have to come to find out who) and, as a result, some things may not be appropriate for children under 12 or 13. I’ll let you parents make the call, but know this. We have an outstanding children’s program up at the Cove! It’s designed to teach your children the same biblical truths we go over –but, at a level geared to their understanding and maturity.
Also, for those of you who are interested for an alternative for your young teens as well–each hour there is a student program going on in the youth building. Take advantage of these and relax and come ready to take in the deep biblical truths God has for you in a way that doesn’t get you distracted. In short, I’ll need your full attention this week.
