Thank you, Southbrook for some time away this weekend with the fam! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and it was great to give her undivided attention!
- I was able to sneak off to church @ our Monroe Campus however–Pastor Geoffrey did an awesome job!
- I learned later that there were some pretty frustrating video challenges @ the Weddington Campus. Please accept my apologies! It was frustrating to learn that the video got fairly messed up and that the sermon was challenging to listen to as a result. This week we will do whatever it takes to assure that doesn’t happen. Thanks for understanding!
- The Monroe campus is growing! – In more ways than one actually! People are stepping up and there’s a real sense of excitement as God keeps showing up week after week! I love the peeps @ Monroe! Keep chasing Jesus!
- My little girl is celebrating what we Singletons call “Birthweek!” So she decided to have a house full of girls spend the night after going ot her dance recital! She did a solo and I was definitely more nervous than her! She did awesome!! Love you, JuJu!
Little bit of attitude or what? This wasn’t her solo, but I love this picture!
- Last week I didn’t get to show some pictures from the awesome time at the end of the service so I’ll do that now. Check’m out!
- I’m very excited about going down to Haiti next week! Be praying for me and the small team of doctors and nurses from Southbrook as we minister to the hurting people of Haiti AND as we explore some incredible opportunities to partner up with at least one other church to make a major impact for years to come down there!
- My dream in this year of chasing God is to bring a large group (30 0r 40) from Southbrook and do some major work and outreach in the city we will be traveling to next week. If you are interested, keep checking back for details, or show up at the Midweek service as we keep on rolling out the news!
- Speaking of the midweek service—some of you may not know what I am talking about. Check this video out to learn more!
- How’s your reading through the Bible going? Prayer? Life-groups? I know at times we can get so busy with “life” that we put God on the back burner. Resist that I beg you. The rewards for drawing close to God blow away anything else this life has to offer! And I mean ANYTHING else!
- Got to hop on the old mountain bike today! Can you believe it? 70 degrees?! Sad to say, it’s been the exception rather than the rule this winter but it felt awesome to ride @ Sherman Branch with pastor Geoffrey–although I suspect he’s been training as I almost coughed up a lung trying to stay with him today!
- Already PUMPED about both Galatians AND continuing our Divine series where Pastor Geoffrey left off. God has revealed some amazing truths to me that I can’t wait to share with you all! See you on Wednesday!
