- Absolutely LOVING the Gospel of John! We call it, “Divine” around here, and it may very well take us a year and a half to get through the whole book—but it will be sooooooo worth it!
- Been a week since the Father/Son Gettysburg trip and I’m still processing things I learned! Is it just me, or were people more respectful, honoring, courageous and all around godly back then?
- Today we talked about how Jesus healed a man born blind via the ‘old mud pie on the eyes trick!’ Well, it wasn’t a trick actually, but I just finished watching Get Smart and I can’t get that cheesy saying of his out of my head!! I suppose it’s the old ‘cheesy saying rattling around in the brain’ trick. It’s fun to see all the different ways and methods Jesus used to reach people! No one more creative—ever!
- Seeing lives changed every day as a result of our “IMPACT” series. Talked to a couple today at the Newcomer’s lunch who have seen Jesus just rock their world since coming to Southbrook! They believe in what we are doing so much they put their money where their talk is and gave a large check above and beyond to make a mark on our body at Southbrook, the community, the world, and the future! Thanks so much! You know who you are!
- In relation to IMPACT, I hope t have some awesome news for you all very soon! Never stop praying!
- Sooooo many people thought the video today was live! I love it! Tell you what, if it makes you feel better, think of it as , ‘almost live.’
- Today we saw AGAIN, that the religious leaders in Jesus’ day had heads full of knowledge and hearts full of hate! I like the way Perry talked about head knowledge,
“Having KNOWLEDGE of God’s Word isn’t the way we should measure spirituality (if it is then just remember that satan has his P h d in theology)…it’s the APPLICATION of the INFORMATION that matters!”
-
I know I say this all the time…maybe it will help to hear it from somebody else for once.

Ready to “Man Up” guys? See you all in the morning—6:15!
Good night!
