Hard to believe we are celebrating 10 whole years of ministry this month at Southbrook Church! I suppose I could easily call this a Decade Mind Dump but, as you can probably imagine, that would be quite lengthy so we’ll stick to the traditional ‘Sunday Evening Deal.’
- First, as I said, ‘We’re 10 years old!’ Wow!
- That means I’m 10 years older! I feel 20 years older—hope I don’t look it!
- Some of the things we celebrated today are…
- 4,000 plus people bending the knee to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! That never gets old!
- More than 2,000 professing Him through Baptism! Wish we’d kept track earlier, but at least we know of that many!
- Countless marriages have been saved.
- Families restored.
- Addictions broken.
- Faith walks deepened
- Another campus has been launched with more on the way!
- I truly could go on and on but I think it might be far more beneficial if you just come see for yourself what God is doing through His people at Southbrook Church!
- Getting ready to challenge the men of Southbrook again tomorrow morning. Am I too hard on them? Nah. See you all at 6:30 am!
- Bummed that team USA lost to the Canadians in overtime—especially because I thought they had to play the whole period out—not ‘first score wins!’ So the end came quickly and brutally! Ugh!
- Pumped that we won the total medal count! Did you know that’s the first time America has ever won the most medals in the winter games? It’s true. We’ve never done it until this year!!! Go team USA!!
- Still have 10 slots left for ‘Unleash’ this Thursday. I’m thinking one of those last 10 spots should go to YOU! Click here to grab one of the last tickets.
Well, God has been so good to us for the first decade but I truly believe the best is yet to come!
You rock, Southbrook!
