Wednesday Evening Mind Dump?

In lieu of the Sunday Evening Mind Dump this week I give you (drum roll please) the ‘Wednesday Evening Mind Dump.’

  • Wow! That’s best sums up the Mexico mission’s experience. Like I said earlier, it will take me at least a week of posts just to scratch the surface of what God did among the Mayan people of the Yukitan peninsula!
  • Poverty was hugely redefined for me during my stay in Mexico.
  • Never seen people with so little so content with what they have. Wake up America!
  • We often overestimate what God wants to do in others…and underestimate what God wants to do in us!  Fact is…He has a plan!  Ephesians 2:10
  • Been reading “Primal” by Mark Batterson. Everyone needs to experience a “Sympathy Breakthrough!”
  • Experienced many in Mexico only they were Sympathy Breackthroughs on steroids! More like Sympathy Breakdowns!
  • Too many of us don’t want Him to disturb us…yet He does His greatest work with those who allow Him to break their hearts with the things that break His! —Perry Noble—
  • Getting fired up about several upcoming things…
  • The One Day, Unleash Conference at Newspring Church, March 4th. Taking 100 people on 2 chartered buses! It’s going to be off the hook!!! If you think you might want to go—or better yet—know God wants you there—better move quick. There are only 14 tickets left! Contact Jen Murray at the following email address and register jmurray@southbrookchurch.com or go directly to here to register directly.
  • Mexico wrecked me in so many ways. It’s not often that I’m paralyzed for things to say but this is one of those times.
  • Ready to meet with the Men of Southbrook this coming Monday @ 6:30 am. If you can grow facial hair, you need to be there! Wait, is that too broad?
  • Hundreds seem to really be stepping up at Southbrook these days. You all rock!!

All for now. I need to get my thoughts together on Mexico so I can make some sort of attempt at sharing them with you all!
