Summer Highlight
For me, one of the definite Summer highlights had to be the absolute blast our Southbrook kids experienced at VBS’ “The Amazing Planet!†It was truly one of the most amazing (no pun intended) kids adventures I’ve ever seen any church do.
Most amazing (sorry, last time) part?
It was all in house!
Our own Mary Padgett and Marty Montague wrote and produced the entire thing!
I’ve always been so thankful for the Willowcreeks and Saddlebacks out there that, in the early going can offer so much for a church that lacks funds and people and resources, but there’s an exciting line you cross when you begin to see God do those amazing ( I lied, I’m addicted to this word…help me!) things, as I said, ‘in house.’
