Did your person(s) end up coming to SCC when Clayton King spoke a few weeks back?
If not, this coming weekend will be another opportunity for them to find the love of Christ and the salvation He freely offers.
Or maybe they came a few weeks back, but they did not cross that line of faith.
Don’t give up!
They’re worth another try aren’t they?
Two more?
Two hundred?
This week we are ‘going there’ as we talk about how Adam and Eve messed everything up but Jesus is into restoration!
So, what can YOU do?
* Pray! I have said this before…I will say it again…NOTHING is more powerful than a church rallied around praying for something that is already in tune with God’s heart!!! There’s a time to pray and a time to move out on the marching orders God gives you. One of the things you already know is that He wants you to get your friends to SCC!
* Invite! Get people here on Saturday or Sunday…no matter what it takes!
* Consider!! Consider what? Either coming to either Saturday evening or 8:30 am Sunday. I know I say this a lot, but we had people standing again at the 10:00 and 11:30 services. Even the 10:00 video cafe was standing room only. And it was Labor Day weekend! So, I cannot emphasize how important this is!!!
AND…I will go a step further and ask that some more of you to consider making a permanent change to the Saturday evening or 8:30 am Sunday services. I will say it again…unchurched people are MOST LIKELY to show up at either 10:00 or 11:30…and we need to do all that we can to provide space for them. It’s as easy as coming on Saturday evening and sleeping in on Sunday!!! Many of the Saturday evening crowd wouldn’t switch back to Sunday if you paid them!
*Be Kind! If you do come at 10:00 or 11:30 this Sunday–be nice!!! 🙂 The lines will be a little longer–keep in mind though that it is about people meeting Jesus and not beating the other church to the restaurant!!! 🙂
MIDWEEK FIX!!! Join us tomorrow evening to reignite the vision in your heart and see how YOU can make an impact for Jesus with your own gifts and talents.
That’s it for now.
Get some rest.
You’ll need it!
