Simply Unbelievable!

No, I’m not picking up where Robert Palmer left off, I’m actually referring to the names you all left on the CD’s this past weekend.

But before I get to that, don’t forget to vote your opinion on the “Evangelism Poll.” I’m using this feedback to help zero in on what issues most of us face in this area. You’ll find the poll here.

Now, back to the post…

The challenge was to only write the names of those you were willing to move heaven and earth to get to Southbrook church the weekend of August 18th and 19th when Clayton King delivers the message, “iBelieve.”

Last time we wrote about 470 names on those towers of light and managed to get about half those people to church. This time, you’ve already written 650 names on the CD’s and the air is electric with anticipation of what God is going to do!

Remember, writing the name just puts your faith commitment out there, it doesn’t drive your friend to Southbrook. You have to do that.

Start praying now, and go ahead and drop that first invite today. Some people already have what they are doing 2 weekends from now booked, so catch them quick and then start disarming the excuses by offering your own servanthood as a solution (ex. I’ll give you a ride so we can go together, let’s go out to lunch afterwards—my treat, etc.).

Trust God to help you with this and believe He will.

The gentlemen’s name who I plan to tear the roof off to bring actually walked up to me while I was on the treadmill at the Siskey Y tonight. God literally put him right in front of me. I invited him and the family over for dinner and already told him to keep that weekend open.

It’s looking good.

I’ll keep you posted.

Also, this was just an encouraging update. Look for your “iTunes evangelistic helps” post a bit latter today!

Until then!

Get ready, the wave is coming!
