- We all (At GCC) have an exciting upcoming weekend for our church and community! Not only are we anticipating lost people coming to faith in Jesus as the gospel is presented, but also the chance to meet many of the new folks at our first ever Newcomers’ Lunch. Oh…and there’s also the rumor I heard that a certain local football team is kicking off their Super Bowl quest.
We believe that these things don’t have to be mutually exclusive! As the gospel is being delivered in both services this weekend, we would encourage you to not only attend, but also invite friends. If you’ll be tailgating at the stadium, attend the 9:00 am service! If you’re watching the game from home, bring your buddies to the 11:00 am service and catch the game afterwards! The last service will be done by 12:30 pm…we want to give you plenty of time to change into your orange and blue!
On a serious note, this is an important message that we believe needs to be delivered. It’s the gospel! Combine the gospel with the great things that God is doing at GCC, and we are expectant that His truth and love will reach many hearts this weekend. We hope that you and your friends will join us in focusing on Christ above all things.
