Sunday Evening Mind Dump!

·      Today was the first test of our vision for all the volunteers—a glimpse not only into the future, but also into our own hearts as to whether or not we’re willing to do whatever it takes to reach the lost.

What was it? It was a video cast sermon. Yes, I’ve been doing this for years in ministry, but for Impact, this is going to be the key way that we fulfill the Great Commission and remain obedient to Acts 1:8! We are committed to this movement—and a movement doesn’t stay in one place. It MOVES! Special thanks to all the volunteers who worked through this first week of training and pre-open jitters! Everything I heard was great! And just think, the best is yet to come!

·      My family and I are so grateful for a week of down time! We are taking our annual week at Litchfield Beach and feeling refreshed already! Although out of town, we are just as excited as the rest for what God is going to do in Charlotte through Impact Church!

·      Heard the first week of volunteer training went great! Remember, next weekend the same training will be offered again and this training is something all our leaders need to attend. Our desire is for everyone to be on the same page and ready to take up the basin and the towel just as Christ did when He washed the disciple’s feet. Remember what He said about that? He said, “The Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve.” If it’s good enough for the God of the universe, shouldn’t it be good enough for the rest of us?

·      Thrilled to have a chance to reconnect with the great gospel of Luke again this coming weekend as we continue our Rx series. Luke is perhaps the most practical of all the gospels. Hope everyone can make it! See you then!
