We were all tremendously moved by Will Retherford as he shared his gifts and talents with us and blessed our body of believers with leading our time of praise @ Impact. It was wonderful to hear people singing out and truly approaching God’s throne in worship!
I know it almost feels “expected” now, but we had our biggest attendance yet Sunday! I don’t ever want us to ever take this for granted. The Lord keeps bringing people and many are brand new to church! Some are also coming from being newly saved at one of our Christmas Eve services and so all of this is brand new to them. Thank you, God for letting us partner with you for this awesome movement called Impact Church!
The prayer team continues to grow (and it must) as I have hoped and dreamed my whole ministry life. I really do feel like ALL Impactors can and should be a part of this vital ministry as it is really the fuel that makes this engine go. Look for the sign up table on Sundays and dive right in! Here are some takeaways for you to dwell on this week: EVERYONE on planet earth is a worshiper! And everyone who ever lived before us are worshipers too. I’ll go one step further. Everyone who will ever live…they will be worshipers too! Because everyone worships something!
John Piper said, “Worship is basically adoration, and we adore only what delights us. There is no such thing as sad adoration or unhappy praise.”
I’ve heard it said that, “Whatever we worship we imitate; whatever we imitatewe become.” I agree. What or who are you worshiping?
