The second annual Weddstock is here! Last year over 4,000 people attended the events at Hunter Farms and this year promises to be better than ever.
We really want to see Brookies out in force tomorrow as we take this excellent opportunity to engage the community of Weddington—home to our Weddington campus!
Remember gang—our mission is to “Impact people with the love of Christ by:
- Marking the Body
- Marking the Community
- Marking the World
- Marking the Future
Obviously this is a chance to mark the community in a tremendous way and that’s where you all come in! I know the notice is short, but God has dropped this in our lap and the planner for the entire event is a Southbrook member who has asked for us to take it and run with it—so let’s do it!
I sent a church wide e-mail out yesterday detaining the needs. In short, there are 4 shifts throughout the day and they still need about 40 volunteers. In addition to official volunteer roles, (our praise band will be there as well!) we would like to see hundreds of Southbrook folks there telling others about our Social series and inviting them to what promises to be a very impactful series. So, check the attached info and come join us! Bring your lifegroup too—the more the merrier!
