One of my favorite weekends EVER! So many amazing things happened @ Southbrook today!
- This weekend the students took the helm—everywhere! It was a total student takeover @ our Weddington and Monroe Campus and people turned out in droves to see what God is doing through the students of Southbrook. It was the largest regular weekend in nearly 2 years! Thank you God for letting us partner with You for Your glory!
- Billy Almaguer (Southbrook’s Student pastor) knocked it out of the park with an extremely relevant and timely message from Proverbs 7 about how to stay the course in the Christian life. The message should be up on our website here, by tomorrow—and on iTunes shortly afterward. This one is worth a listen!
- After attending the student takeover @ Southbrook Wedington, I hopped in the car and headed over to our Monroe campus to worship with the gang and hear our Monroe campus pastor, Jonathan Bareham deliver his message on Psalm 1. He too was off the hook! His message will also be up a bit later this week.
- One of the largest crowds at Southbrook Monroe as well! Several people from the previous day’s outreach with the “Closet” ministry were there too and 3 people gave their lives to Jesus! Never gets old!
- School is not even back in session yet! What a great start to the Fall! Gang, one thing I’m most excited about…the best seems yet to come!
