What do all these things have in common?
Southbrook Church
Samaritian’s Feet
Haiti Relief
All three are joining forces to make a difference!
Not just a physical difference, but a difference that only the gospel message can bring. And we know that they (the world) will only know we are Christians one way—by our love. So join us in caring for the needs and hurts of those around the world by joining us @ Southbrook Church on Friday, February 5th for the Gal Friday Benefit Concert. All proceeds (and by all, I mean “ALL”) will go to the needy in the Myan villages of Mexico when our mission teams travel down there in February AND to relief for those in need in Haiti. Our own, Ryan York leaves tomorrow for Haiti (please keep him in your prayers) with Samaritan’s purse and we all have the opportunity to make a difference for now through the gifts we give financially. We have been told that their single greatest need right now is money so that they can purchase the food, water, and medical supplies the people of Haiti so desperately need right now.
Southbrook, you have always been a generous church. So show up and show up big on February 5th and know that this is only the beginning. In the months ahead we are hoping to send teams down to Haiti to help—please prayerfully consider being a part of that! But for now, purchasing tickets and showing up in force is the best way to show your support.
For more, I’ll keep you posted.
Over and out!
