Sunday Evening Mind Dump

Getting used to these again are ya? I laid off for a few months—not sure why. Maybe my mind didn’t have anything in it to spare let alone dump.

But these days there’s plenty on my mind.

  • It was a great day today at Southbrook. Southbrook central saw more than 50 people give their lives to Christ! Two of these were in our youth! This NEVER gets old!
  • We talked about one of my very favorite stories in all of scripture—the story of Nicodemus.
  • This chapter also has the most well known verse in all of scripture—John 3:16.
  • Struck me how many people know this verse and how few really understand it.
  • Nicodemus was a pretty important dude—powerful, highly educated, elite, a Pharisee, member of the ruling council, and…CLUELESS!
  • He came to Jesus by night.
  • Nick @ Night.
  • Imagine mot wanting anyone to know you had anything to do with Jesus.
  • Went to youth tonight. We have a great group of young adults! They are fired up about reaching people for Jesus! They aren’t the future. They are the NOW.
  • Gonna try something really risky and really cool in two weeks. Some will love it. Some will hate it. No one will miss it. Welcome to my world.
  • Wonder how many got saved out at Monroe—still haven’t heard. Call me, Geoffrey!
  • Panthers were winning last I checked—against the undefeated Saints.
  • They lost.
  • Awesome to see the bleachers fill up this weekend. You know it’s gonna be a good day when you see that!
  • Please pray for the harvest on November 22nd. I’m praying for a hundred people to come to Christ on that day!
  • My Kindle’s dying—anyone have a power cord?!

It’s late. See you in the morning!
