Worship is Jamin these days!
As most of you know by now, Southbrook hired Greg Carr to take over worship—AND, take it up a notch, or 10!
And he’s already done great things in only ONE MONTH!
Can’t wait to see what the future brings! It was just about this time last year that we were in a rebuilding phase and only had about 15 people involved in the ministry—and that’s being generous! How can a church our size function like that?
We couldn’t. But Melissa Dudley stepped in and shored things up over the last 9 months or so and even raised the group back to well over 30 people. They’ve never been more unified—never been more interested in lifting up the name of Jesus at Southbrook Church!
Well, last night we had a meeting of the current team and I was presently surprised to see 44 people there! And several were unable to make it! That’s right, the worship/production is close to 50 people now and there’s a whole new group of candidates (12–15) ready to audition and jump on board both at the Weddington Campus and at our campus in Monroe!
