This mind dump is another backing up of the dump-truck (beep, beep, beep) and a depositing of what’s on my mind and heart.
In no particular order:
- Thrilled to be back home after 12 days of rest and fun with the fam!
- Got to worship at the best church on the planet, Southbrook Church!
- Got to hear our Southbrook Monroe Campus Pastor, Geoffrey Janes preach today. He knocked it out of the park!
- Weird for Geoffrey to be live at Weddington and on video at Monroe. Weird in a good way.
- Everyone is getting pumped about our upcoming series, “United!” They are dying to know what we are doing that has never been done by a church before in these here parts. How ‘Southern’ was that?
- Couldn’t resist getting up in front of the folks at Southbrook. Too hard to just sit there.
- I wish I didn’t have to kick some spiritual butt but you have to do what you have to do.
- I believe Southbrook is the best church family anywhere on the planet.
- God disciplines those He loves — Hebrews 12.
- Tomorrow we all hit the ground running.
- This coming week is the last Hebrews message — Hebrews 13. After that the 7 month journey is over.
- I will definitely miss Hebrews but I am pumped about the next book of God’s AWESOME Word that we will be studying.

- Southbrook Monroe continues to reach more people and establish a presence in Monroe. Awesome!
- Try reading Hebrews in, “The Message” for a whole new perspective.
- Or, at warp speed you could read the whole thing in about ten minutes in rob lacey’s “Word on the Street.”
