What did you do to greet the new year? We literally ran right into it by running the 10k race at Tanglewood’s “Running with the Lights” event. And one thing we all agreed on was that it was COLD!
Even bundled up as we were, it was COLD!
But it was also fun and a great way to get the entire family involved. We were even able to sucker, oops, I mean ‘convince’ another family from Southbrook to try it with us. Pray for the Watkins family. They obviously have no idea what they’ve gotten themselves into!
But, if we are a bit wacko and unpredictably zany, it’s at least comforting to know that nearly 1,000 other crazies showed up to jog into 2009 in 23 degree weather. Pray for us all!
