Beginning THIS WEEKEND, our brand new series…
Come join us at Southbrook Church as we uncover relational myths and discover the true benefits that come through relating to one another the way God intended.
* This series may not be appropriate for children under the age of 13, however, SCC has incredible, off the hook children’s ministries (as well as youth) available. We encourage you to take advantage of these for your young ones.
We’re trusting God to do a great work throughout this series and asking all of you to invite, invite, invite. This may be the best series we’ve ever done and we’re expecting it to show in the form of ‘changed lives!’
Hope to see you all there!
P.S. Men?! THIS COMING MONDAY MORNING @ 6:15 AM is our first gathering of all men interested in learning what it takes to become godly men, fathers, young men, husbands and just plain leaders for Christ. I know that it is the “morning after,” — as in after the Superbowl, but that’s all the more reason I planned our first one for this day. It’s also the first Monday of the month and that is when we have decided to do this thing. I figured there will always be hurdles and excuses and one of the main things keeping men from being men these days is that they use these for excuses. So here’s my first challenge, Have a blast watching the superbowl with friends and family. Stay up as late as you’d like. Overeat. Jump up and down often, cheering on your favorite team (unless, like me they didn’t even make it into the playoffs), in short, live it up…BUT THEN, Make sure you get up and ralley with us at the Video Cafe.
Come ready to take on the world—cause that’s what we’re going to do!
P.P.S. Don’t forget to share your most bone-headed financial decision (story) with me. Just leave it in the comments section of this post. You can access it here. By Friday (today) I will pick the winner (or loser, depending upon how you view it ). Thanks everyone for the stories so far. They’re great!
P.P.P.S. Don’t forget to check out some new blogs connected to Southbrook ministries and people;
1. www.michellesingleton.com (my personal favorite! Read this one to get the straight scoop after you’ve read mine!)
2. www.southbrookrevealed.com (a ‘weekend update’ sharing what went down each weekend for those who could not make it or just like having a little synopsis)
3. http://southbrookchurch.blogspot.com/ (This one has been going for a while all though there was a period of time where it wasn’t updated much. That’s changed now with Southbrook/Monroe going full steam ahead. Check back here periodically for news on how Southbrook Church plans to expand and reach out way beyond our four walls)
