Fasten Your Seatbelts!
We’ve spent the last two days as a staff hashing through some pretty deep stuff. We’ve been learning how to work together, deal with conflict, and build trust. We spent the last half of today sharing our dreams. Each pastor and director revealed their heart’s desires, their biggest dreams and goals for their area of ministry here at Southbrook. You would not believe some of the things that were talked about! One thing is for sure, we have some big dreamers on our staff!
What was even more amazing was how each individual dream fit into the bigger overall picture of Southbrook Church. Every pastor/director has a burning desire to reach out past the church walls to help those in need – everything from reaching the lost to resourcing other churches. I was blown away. My heart was beating overtime just listening to the dreams as they were shared!
Know this – your leaders at Southbrook are ON FIRE! And after spending the last two days uniting—you better be ready to see God do some unbelievable things with this church.
