What is it?
Signal-to-Noise ratio compares the level of a desired signal (such as music) to the level of background noise. The higher the ratio, the less obtrusive the background noise is.
Spiritually speaking. our ‘desired signal’ is the good news of Jesus Christ and the background noise can be anything from old stale traditions and christianeeze, to an inward focussed church who doesn’t care about the people ‘out there.’ Actually, anything that interferes with the purity of the message hitting home (hearts) is ‘background noise.’ The less ‘background noise’ the better.
We have less ‘background noise’ interfering with the truth about Christ than any church I know of!
